Pulilan is one of Bulacan’s 24 municipalities, situated at the gateway of Central Luzon, the Ilocos provinces, Cagayan Valley and the Cordilleras.

The town district boasts of a genuine Filipino Heritage. Aside from being a predominantly Catholic town, Pulilan has a certain local traditions such as the San Isidro Labrador Fiesta during the 14th and 15th of May. This is in honor of San Isidro Labrador, the local farmer’s patron saint known for being a God-fearing person and a hardworking farmer. The celebration is also a time for thanksgiving for life’s bounty and abundance during the harvest seasons. This event is one of the tourist attraction of Bulacan, “The kneeling of the Carabao”.
